Good product, could be a little more rugged. For the price nothing wrong with it.I bought these Torx screw drivers to open my Xbox 360 controllers. One of the thumbsticks had started sticking and was affecting my gameplay, so I wanted to see if I could just clean out the inside to resolve this issue. Instead of forking over $60 for a new controller I thought I'd try and see if I could just do some cleaning up on the one's I had. I was used to cleaning the inside of the Nintendo controllers, so I thought I'd give it a try. There is a screw behind the sticker on the back. I was able to open the controller and revealed a small box at the base of the thumbstick. The issue with the sticking controller seemed to be within the small box, so I was not able to fix it. I may try to use some sort of solvent, like rubbing alcohol, to see if that works. I'm writing off that controller anway, so if it ends up not working, I figure it's no loss. I ended up just purchasing a new controller. These work great for the PS3 slim case security torx screws. I only needed one to replace the laser, but it's nice to have the other size.As with any hand tool, make sure you are using the right size, and keep constant pressure on the screw while extracting. I can't imaging this screwdriver wearing out quickly as another reviewer suggested, if you use common sense. These screws are just not that tight. OK, maybe if you are using it for some other application where the screws are torqued down tight, it could be an issue, but I can't say. I am not using it for that purpose and they seem very robust with no sign of wear after tearing down two units. If you are doing this for a living, yes, buy a Snapon, but this is not the application for the vast majority of users I would guess.PS: If you are unsure if your BD laser is bad, let me say this: If you have tried all the updates, etc, and the BD still randomly doesn't read, or doesn't read certain disks, IT'S THE LASER! I spent an insane number of hours researching this problem and finally just bought the BD laser. PS3 plays perfectly now, and I am able to enjoy the 3D Avatar I bought!!!These tools are low qualityHandle is about 1/2 inch in diameterThey work for easy screws in plastic, their small handles are likely to limit the applied torque, if you attempt a stubborn rusted screw they will fail.Works on delicate electronics only. This tool set was perfect for my needs. I am getting into repairing/modding electronics, video game controllers specifically. This set has all the basic tools I would need. I was especially impressed with the brush - most sets I found don’t have that included. The case is a clear plastic, with a zip lock for water prevention. It will definitely be a permanent staple in my tool bag.I looked everywhere but these are not sold in any hardware or tool stores at all. Sure you may find Tamper-Proof/Security Torx "bits" at Ace and other stores but not actual screwdrivers. Why is this important? Because say there is a security torx screw down a crevice hole that you need to stick a lengthy screwdriver down to twist it out. You won't be able to do that with said "bits". No matter if they are tamper proof or not. The bit driver end will be bigger than the hole (that's what she said). All jokes aside, this is true and you will need these which you can only find here and game sites to open up say an XBOX 360. Don't waste your time at tool shops, buy these they work great. They remain in my game tools section of my tool box, along with Nintendo screw bits. Buy both together and with Y-wing bits (Gamecube) to have a complete collection of game console screwdrivers and bits.A valuable tool for security screws and am excellent value for money. It is very durable.Sure, the title says these things are for the XBox but the product features description is accurate (that they work on a variety of other products requiring a Torx). My Me gusta surtio lo que ofrecio.
